Our servers have connections with GlobalCenter (GC), Qwest Communications and GTE through three separate bandwidth-on-demand connections. We are linked to FGC by a fiber optic cable. Giving you great speed at all times!
Do you offer Virtual Private Servers?
Yes, e-Business Express offers shared, VPS and dedicated server hosting plans. Virtual Private Servers (VPSs) are a cost effective way to add the functionality of a dedicated server at a fraction of the cost. Under VPS, each user is allocated an independent VPS environment with its own applications and services as illustrated above, isolated from all other users. Each VPS performs and executes exactly like a stand-alone server.
Can I add applications with a VPS hosting plan?
VPS accounts operate independently, each with its own operating system and applications, including sendmail. You can customize existing applications and add entirely new applications through the VPS control panel.
Is root access available under your VPS hosting plan?
Yes, e-Business Express provides root access with selected VPS hosting plans. Additionally, your VPS system can be rebooted independently and has its own users, IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files.
I had a bad experience with a resource hog on another host's shared server plan. Do you have any hosting plans that will ensure resources will be available for my site no matter what resource demands are placed on the server by other users?

I was blacklisted for SPAM on a shared server with another host. I don't need a dedicated server, is there a plan that will protect me if another user on the server gets blacklisted for SPAM?
Yes, because every VPS account has its own sendmail application, you will not be blacklisted based upon the actions of another user. VPS accounts insulate the account holder from other users on the server so you will not run the risk of being black listed and losing your email.
Can I host multiple domains/subdomains under your hosting plans?

We will provide you with the name of the server when your account is activated!
What is a "parked" domain name?
Parked domains are aliases of other domains. For example, if you had the domain olddomain.com and parked it on your other domain – newdomain.com all traffic gong to olddomain.com would automatically be sent to newdomain.com.
Can I upload pages frequently?
Each account comes with one FTP/Telnet account. You have full access to your space via FTP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you can update your site at your leisure.
What is the data transfer for my web site?
Monthly data transfer is the amount of information that is transmitted to/from your Web space. Each time a picture or HTML page is viewed by a visitor, you upload data using FTP, or email is received it adds to your monthly data transfer. A transfer limit of 15GB allows 1,500,000 hits. You can monitor and add more transfer if needed at any time by clicking 'Upgrade' button on your control panel. Our plans range from 10GB to 200GB of transfer per month.
Do your accounts all come with their own CGI-bin?
Yes! The CGI-bin is where you store and run CGI scripts from. These scripts are used to generate online order forms, guestbooks, shopping carts, counters, and more! Every account comes with a local CGI-bin!
What CGI scripts come with your hosting plans?
All hosting plans include a hit counter, a search engine, a web creation tool, a form emailer, bulletin board, guest book and much more. Adding CGI scripts to your account is a snap.
What are autoresponders?
Autoresponders automatically respond to incoming email. For example, if you plan on being out of the office on vacation, you can set up an autoresponder to an email message to everyone who emails you while you’re gone letting them know your out of the office vacationing and will respond when you return. Each account plan comes with unlimited autoresponders.
What about the Traffic Statistical Software?
Traffic analysis software comes pre-installed with every web hosting account! We use HTTP-Analyze and it is very easy to access. You can access your weekly stats by typing http://yourdomain.com/stats/.
What types of account activities are prohibited?

Do you support subdomains?
Yes! You can create subdomains for your account yourdomain.com like sub.yourdomain.com.
How can I check a domain name’s availability?
You can use the form located at Domain Name Registration to check the availability of any domain name.
How do I register new domain names?
e-Business Express has partnerships with Bulk Register and Tucows to register .com, .net,.org, .us, .info, .biz, .us and .cc domain names. We register new domain names for $39.90 for a 2 year registration - a $30.00 savings over Network Solutions. Bulk Register is accredited by ICANN as an official registrar of Top Level Domain names (TLD's). For more information about this, please see our Domain Registration page.
When my domain name is registered through you, who owns the name?
You do. Also, on the domain name record you will also be listed as the administrative and billing contacts. Whenever you want to make modifications with your domain name, the administrative or billing contact is always contacted first.
How long does it take for the world to see my site?
It usually takes 24-48 hours to complete new domain name registrations once processed. It does depend on ALL networks and ISPs of the world to update their servers and lookup your new domain name. Some popular dial-up ISPs (i.e. Earthlink, Slip.Net, Sprynet, Grid.Net) take less than 6 hours to update their servers, while others will take more than 3 days. So if you are still using a dial-up connection to the Internet, make sure you have a reliable ISP that promply updates its DNS servers, so you can access yourdomain.com right away.
How do I transfer a domain name to e-Business Express?
If you registered your domain name with Network Solutions, e-Business Express will handle your transfer. We will automatically send a modification request to Network Solutions, and they will in turn send confirmation of the request via email to the administrative, and technical contact of the domain name involved. Only one person must agree to the email and reply-back to Network Solutions for the transfer to successfully go through.
If you registered your domain name with a registrar other than Network Solutions, we may be able to make the transfer for you. Be sure to provide us with your registrar and login and information and we’ll see what we can do.
Can I transfer an existing domain registered using Register.com or other domain registrar?
We can complete your domain transfer for you. You simply need to send your account user name and password that you were provided when you registered your domain with Register.com or other domain registrar. If you would like to complete the domain transfer yourself, you can use the e-Business Express Name Server Information (DNS) provided in your welcome letter.
Will my credit card be billed monthly?
Yes, if you pay for your account on a monthly basis with a credit card, we will re-bill your credit card each month on your designated billing day. This saves you from having to re-submit your payment each month and keep your account up to date.

What do I need to sell online?
A shopping cart, SSL certificate, merchant account and of course an e-commerce hosting plan. All e-Business Express e-Commerce and e-Business hosting plans include everything you need to sell online. Each of the plans includes free merchant account and Authorize.net payment gateway setup and activation.
